It has a somewhat rustic feel, with the bathrooms and general store, but that's about it. The campground is wide open, like a grassy parking lot, so it seems better suited to people with a 5th wheel. I have a hardtop and my family enjoys more of a woodsy experience so we won't be going back.

We went summer 2016 and absolutely love it. Site 36 right on the water, we were able to kayak and it was just breathtaking being right on the water!! Will be going again for sure this summer for longer than 2 days !!

Very good price. Besides a lake however the site we got had no view of it. Most of the sites with views are owned/taken by seasonal campers. They have water and 30amp available. Reason this gets a 3 is they advertised as full service but they don't have sewer to the sites (dumping station only). As well, if you are a traveler, it's a bit of a drive off of the main highway to get there. Other than that it's good. The staff was polite and welcoming at the office which is always nice.

I stayed in August 2013 and I liked it. 3 kids under 9 and they had a good time. The lake is there and a nice playground.

Fellow campers were really friendly, however after walking around after dark, I noticed there were only 2 other campers were having a campfire, even though the park was mostly full. Mostly 50+ years old campers during our stay, so younger people may want to avoid it.
